The mission of our office is to work with people to regain and maintain
their health by designing and implementing wellness programs based on
the latest scientific research.  

Science has shown that the major underlying causes of most health
problems, including heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, obesity,
pain, and depression, originate from the life-threatening behaviors such
as poor nutrition, stressful living, lack of exercise, poor posture, addictive
activities, injuries, and  unhealthy hygiene.

Our Power Workshop Series serves as our forum for teaching the
concepts of wellness. This incredible curriculum consists of a series of
workshops that outline specific strategies of how to achieve a truly
healthy lifestyle. These valuable classes are offered free to our patients
and their guests.

WorkShop Series

The Path to Wellness
Our current poor lifestyle is a major contributing factor to all of our major diseases.   This workshop
discusses the basic daily activities needed to achieve a healthy lifestyle in congruence with our
genetic makeup.  Through this we avoid disease, limit pain, live longer, and look and feel great.

Eat well
This workshop discusses the basics of good nutrition and vitamins and supplements.  Special
emphasis is placed on weight loss and proper eating at restaurants.

Move well
Our bodies require a great deal of exercise and everyday motions in proper form.  This workshop
discusses the basics of exercise, posture, and workplace ergonomics.  Special emphasis is placed on
strength training, aerobic exercise, and weight loss.

Think well
Our bodies are greatly influenced by thoughts and mental stress.  This workshop discusses the
physiological ramifications of living under continued stress and appropriate lifestyle strategies to
cope better.  How to use the Emotional Freedom Technique, a self administered mind-body
technique, is taught.  This enables you  to better reduce tension, stress, and mental and emotional
blockages and  decrease pain, reduce phobias, improve health, and help you cope in our stressful
world.

Staying fit while you sit
Sitting at work for extended periods of time can be dangerous to your health.  This workshop
discusses the basics of desk-centered ergonomics, stretches, and nutritional recommendations that
can be implemented at work.

Stretching your way to greater flexibility
How should I stretch?  This workshop discusses workplace, athletic, and wellness stretching which
will improve your flexibility and help avoid injury.

Boost your immune system in 21 days
How can I improve my immune system?  This workshop discusses natural ways to improve your
immunity and avoid common lifestyle activities that dramatically depress our immune system.

Lower your cholesterol and fight heart disease naturally
Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States.  This workshop discusses the natural
lifestyle activities that can dramatically lower your probability of suffering from heart disease.
