Eat Well
Sufficient and pure, non-toxic nutrition is one of the
important four conditions for wellness.
The Eat Well program is a part of a larger wellness
program which includes the other three conditions for
wellness: Move Well, Think Well, and Plan Well.
The Eat Well program recognizes that one standard diet is
not ideal for everyone. What makes nutrition complicated
is biological individuality. This means that no two people
are biologically identical; therefore, no two people need
exactly the same diet and nutrition supplements to build
and maintain good health.
Using the Nutri-spec system of nutrition testing, we test
your urine, saliva, and other biological markers to identify
your metabolic deficiencies or metabolic type. Once your
metabolic type has been determined, we construct a diet
and supplement plan specifically geared to your needs
that will restore any depleted vitamins and minerals and
balances your chemistry. We periodically retest to track
your progress and change any recommendations as
needed.
Our genes, which have not changed since our
hunter-gatherer ancestors, evolved to require a sufficient
quantity and variety of foods. If we do not provide our
genes with these important nutrients we will not be
healthy. Our Eat Well program adheres to this principle.
But sufficient quantity of food is only half of the nutrition
equation. We must also avoid toxic foods. Some toxic
foods include, trans fats, hydrogenated oils,
preservatives, growth hormones, coloring, refined
carbohydrates, artificial sweeteners, sugar, too much
alcohol, and junk food.
The Eat Well program recommends a personalized
nutrition system that supplies your body with its required
deficient nutrients and follows a diet in accordance with
our genetic heritage.
