Bryant Park Wellness
Dr. Jeffrey K. Linder
For Physicians

For many reasons, patients often do not follow your medical
and wellness advice.

At Bryant Park Wellness, we serve as an adjunct to your
medical care.  We help your patients improve their life-style
behavior which strongly contributes to their illness.

We create Wellness Programs for patients who:

  • suffer from pain syndromes
  • have hypertension
  • have diabetes
  • possess risk factors contributing to diabetes
  • have cardiovascular disease
  • possess risk factors contributing to cardiovascular
    disease
  • have digestive problems
  • or want to become a healthier person.

The focus of our Wellness Programs is to identify and then
reduce the risk factors of your patient's current illness or
condition by recommending and tracking a series of behavioral
changes.  The behavioral changes consist of moving, eating,
and thinking well.

After the initial consult, patients complete a
Personal Wellness
Profile
TM - a questionnaire and software which assesses
health risk and then  motivates participants to make
improvements in their lifestyle.

The results of the
Personal Wellness ProfileTM identifies the
participant's major risk factors of disease and the different
Wellness Management Programs needed to reduce those risks.

Our recommendations are primarily based on the work of the
Wellsource company, who has been creating wellness
assessment tools and programs for over 25 years.

The recommendations are based on guidelines and work by:

  • American Cancer Society
  • American Heart and Stroke Association
  • National Institutes of Health
  • National High Blood Pressure Education Program
  • National Cholesterol Education Program
  • National Diabetes Education Program
  • U.S. Public Health Service
  • The Clinician's Handbook of Preventive Services
  • U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, Guide to Clinical
    Preventive Services
  • American Heart Association
  • Journal of the American Medical Association
  • Journal of Preventitive Medicine
  • Mayo Clinic
  • New England Journal of Medicine
  • National Center of health Statistics
